This just IN… Women with Tools in YYC is starting July 20! This community Facebook group is for women in Calgary, and area, who are here to learn a thing or two about building! You don’t need to be an experienced DIY’er or woodworker, this group will be a place to learn, and connect with like-minded women… to get inspired to tackle a new home project that you’ve been eyeing up! Whatever your skill level or interest, our community group aims to provide a supportive and empowering environment for women who enjoy working with tools and who enjoy learning something new.
The Modern Planter Box is our FIRST build! It’s simple, straightforward and will look AMAZING in your yard or home. July – What’s in Store
The sun is out, the kids are off of school and now what?! We know summer can be a busy season. We slow down a little bit as well. Besides the Calgary Stampede, here’s a look at what’s happening in July at the Rusted Petal shop.

Custom Work, Custom Craftsmanship
Speaking of custom builds… a little recap from the last few months! That beautiful table and matching bench is very happy in its new home. It was a labor of love and we’re still so happy with how it turned out. Currently, the shop is busy… we are measuring some designs for a few corporate (office) signs and a custom trade show booth for a fellow artisan, Tiny Fire.
Custom builds bring us immense joy and fill us with a profound sense of honor. As an ‘artisan’ of this timeless craft, we have the privilege of turning raw wood into exquisite creations that fulfill the unique visions and desires of our clients. Each project is a labor of love, requiring meticulous planning, precision craftsmanship and a commitment to quality. The BEST part – is the satisfaction of seeing the smiles on our clients’ faces, knowing that we have exceeded their expectations and brought their dreams to reality. Thank you to all of you who have entrusted us with these opportunities.
